If you are flying into Albuquerque consider using the New Mexico Rail Runner Express commuter train from downtown Albuquerque to the Santa Fe train station which is only one short block away from the Santa Fe Motel & Inn.  Take advantage of our convenient location where just about everything is a short walk including the downtown Plaza, the O’Keefe Museum, the Farmers Market, the Convention Center as well as galleries, restaurants and shopping.  All you need to do is purchase your Rail Runner ticket online at nmrailrunner.com ($8.00 one-way) and from the Albuquerque Sunport hop on the Airport Express which will take you to the downtown Albuquerque to Santa Fe train station .  The City of Santa Fe operates “The Santa Fe Pickup” a free minibus service from the train station to all hotels.  This certainly seems like a savings if you do not have to pay for a rental car and gasoline or the higher priced Sandia Shuttle service ($25 one way).   Not renting a car only works because of the Santa Fe Motel & Inn’s perfect location.   Reserve your room early!
